Literature Text

I drove miles and miles into the desert.
There I saw faces,
pale faces that stared as I
sped past them, sweetly oblivious.

I drove miles and miles away from people,
from towns, from smiles and from warmth,
away from the poison and into
the world of eternal luminescence.

I drove miles into the silence,
miles into a light so pure that stung my eyes;
deep into a world that leeched all my colours away.

I drove into it so willingly,
because it felt as endearing as a sleeping pill,
because it was just as having blood taken out of me,
thrilling, and it made my head feel light.

When I arrived at Antarctica,
I left my ride to melt into the landscape and I walked,
the ice was islands beneath my bare feet,
and I'm still bleeding my footprints as I keep on going.
the ice is inside me again

Ice, is sometimes is the better option, but, as you well know i think, ice is sharp too, anyway the most of the times it brings peace with him. Apart from that some things are better with ice or frozen, ice cream would not be so cool if it's no frozen, that for sure! =D
