Moorland.

Skulls, and a cross atop a hill.

A thrill like open poetry,
an affinity that's just suggested.
Maybe a Sea God has whispered a truth,
and the winds have made it a
whisper.

This, is lifeless.

This, is where a nightmare,
paints the landscape.
A dead tree and a banshee,
and the lament of
hundreds of dead artists,
and the wind, the winds know everything.

A moorland is a rumor and a blindness,
and souls that wander its creeks
as though they were an antechamber to a
colder hell.

When the mist rises,
a world in a rapture of dark and oily green
gets an embroidered gown
to cover its stench.
Moist stones have betrayed every singl

Puppet canvass.

"Once I was in that place.
I've seen it somewhere."

Amorph.
A sort of colorful stain that is alive enough
to shape itself,
that fits in every line art.

Something spiralling towards Heaven,
like a set of unending stairs,
or maybe an airport.
Or the most desolate moorland.

Someone above draws it,
and all the gaps fill itselves,
on a mute canvass, a puppet canvass.

The red trenchcoat.

I dream of a red trenchcoat.
I'd love to have one,
and then, wearing it, conquer the night.
High black heels and red lipstick,
and perfume that corrodes the cityscape,
the yellow lights and the flowing traffic.

I dream of broad avenues and trees,
classy buildings and an atmosphere.
Cool night air, cream colored gloves.

It feels like graves and smells like roses,
and I'm owning the world tonight.
I dream of solitude and a red tenchcoat,
and it feels like the rest of my life
is just a moment in this urban prison.

Random

A sword's shadow looks like a cross when it's sunset,
and we've all tied ourselves to that restless
steering wheel.

Promise your lover the sun,
knowing all you can is give your soul the moon,
and every precious piece of integrity
is a word gone with the present.

Endlessly we will praise the seasons,
because they're like a phoenix.
We can't do that.
We're just our own crooked scratches on sand,
mimicking Goth and arabesques.

You, and I, and the rest of the world whole,
sit on darkened shores and doze off.

We are all sinking and
we're all going, somehow.

It's calligraphy on wet sand.

Nightfall in a cityscape.It's a white day with a lot of light,
and here am I!
A lost soul wandering on the road to nowhere!

Walking
the railroad
to all those
allpoints in one,
and dreaming,
of seagulls
and voodoo dolls that will never scream out in agony!

(Bring them on! I want, I need those gutural voices, ripping the air apart.)

The railroad ends in disappointment, and a station floating over a cloud of tears.
The end is a mirror, it doesn't start all over again but it certainly looks like it does.

The violence in me is just
mirroring the city,
I'm in-offensive,
just another uknown face in a white world,
A LOST SOUL WANDERING TOWARDS THE END OF EVE

He painted.

I can't complain,
I live in a pretty cristal box.
I can see the wind blowing the surface of the lakes of eternity,
and it's a nice place to dream of.

He looked at me,
and spoke simple words, articulated in a teethless mouth,
'No', he said, 'Can you find any of these in reality?',
and they were bubblegum pink candies of a picture.
And also those waves...
I've forgotten that, if we're worth something,
it's because we've a whole world zipped inside our heads.

It's possible there is a canvass out of this box,
somewhere in the landscape.
Beneath those waters that won't concede me anything.

Kid!Denmark and Finland wearing sami-inspired hats and sweaters.
They're in Lapland.
And those are ghost mooses, probably the spirits of the forest they're in or some ancient local legend. And that's why you'll excuse all the anatomy failures

I was experimenting. Sorry for the crazy levels of saturation. Also I just like my pictures SPARKLY, like mah vampires (...?) jajaj, kidding guys, there's only one person that I like it when he sparkles-->

As I am typing this, a memory comes to me of one of the first songs Nightwish ever composed, called, precisely 'Lapland' (Lappi). It is a very beautiful song, quiet, and it does get you in the mood. I'm going to link you

Lapland rocks!

I've rented a book on Lapland from my local library, and it looks like a heaven for a nature-loving Neo-Pagan like myself! I've always loved Sami!Finland and Pagan!Finland - I have a ton of headcanons on Finland and his beloved reindeer companions... X'3

I dont know much about sami/pagan finland, but it must be SO interesting. What little I´ve seen of that definitely deserves to be more looked into.
Share with me some headcanon pleeeeease?

I like pagan!norway a lot, i can super picture him rougher in his viking days.
I also have a weird headcanon for sailor!norway, but not the sissy sailor outfit they always draw him, in, a more sturdy, rough kind of sailor (viking without viking clothes?)
